The Orthopaedic Center of Southwest Florida was founded in February 2006 by Dr. Sforzo. It was started under the premise of providing state of the art medical care to his patients in a comfortable and nurturing environment. The office of Dr. Sforzo at his Bee Ridge Road location was carefully and painstakingly laid out to best meet patient needs. Every amenity was diligently crafted to make your visit a pleasant one. Our facility at Bee Ridge has the state-of-the-art in digital x-ray, which allows Dr. Sforzo to best diagnose and treat problems efficiently and effectively. With computer work-stations in every exam room, Dr. Sforzo takes the time to go over your x-rays and explain your diagnosis and treatment options. His offices are also fully stocked in splinting and bracing equipment, as well as all cast application materials.

You will also find the Maxfield Medical Building, the home of The Orthopaedic Center, to be a comprehensive medical complex. On the premises, the Maxfield Imaging Center provides the newest technology in MRI and CT (i.e. CAT scan), and is located conveniently on the first floor. Also in the building are arguably the most noted neurosurgical group and primary care/medicine group in Sarasota County. Health South Rehab occupies the third floor, providing a full array of top of the line physical and occupational therapy.
