The Orthopaedic Center of Southwest Florida was founded in February 2006 by Dr. Sforzo. It was started under the premise of providing state of the art medical care to his patients in a comfortable and nurturing environment. The staff at The Orthopaedic Center prides itself on availability, customer service, and excellent patient care.
Our office on Bee Ridge Road was carefully and painstakingly laid out to best
meet your needs. Every amenity was diligently crafted to make your visit a
pleasant one. This facility has the state-of-the-art in digital x-ray and
electronic medical record keeping (EMR), which allows Dr. Sforzo and Dr.
Dillingham to best diagnose and treat your problems efficiently and effectively.
With computer work-stations in every exam room, we take the time to go over your
x-rays and explain your diagnosis and treatment options in great detail.
The office is also fully stocked in splinting and bracing equipment, as well as
all cast application materials, including colorful water-proof casts, which are
especially great for kids. Our physicians personally perform all casting and
bracing on site, which allows you to leave our office in the best position to
start your healing process right away.
You will also find the Maxfield Medical Building, the home of The Orthopaedic
Center, to be a comprehensive medical complex. On the premises, Choice Imaging
Center provides the newest technology in MRI, CT, PET and bone scanning and is
located conveniently on the first floor. Also in the building is the
Neurosurgery and Spine Specialists and
Gulf Coast
Medical Specialists.
Bollettieri Sports Medicine is located on the third floor, providing a full
array of top of the line physical and occupational therapy. Along with taking
care of all acute and chronic problems, they also take great pride in getting
you back to full recovery after surgery, including rotator cuff repair and joint
replacement. They are the official therapists for IMG Academies located in
Bradenton, Florida, where the best athletes in the world come to train.
